I had meningitis once does that make me more susceptible to getting it again? worst time of my life?

thats pretty much it i had meningitis when i was 23 and since then im terrified of getting it again WORST thing ever!! so i was wondering since i caught it once does that make me more open to getting it again or does it not matter
