Is anyone looking for a vacuum?

I just purchase the Dyson DC17 Animal and it's amazing. I vacuumed our master bedroom first and the canister was 50% full. I was amazed and grossed out all at the same time. I am usually one who finds a problem with everything but this vacuum is truly amazing. Sears has it for $500 and Lowes for $450 and sometimes you can get 10% off of that. We have already done the whole house, even my husband is helping out to see how much he can collect with it. We have a chocolate lab and this vacuum is highly recommended if you have pets. I can finally lay on the floor after vacuuming and not see any pet hair left behind. Our old vacuum was an eight year old Eureka. So glad I spent the money!

If I were to deploy a router (perhaps in the DMZ or via port forwarding), how do I configure it and a dynamic DNS service, so that I can receive email via my domain name, via MX records pointing to my server (sending will be authenticated SMTP to my ISP's server, I ume) and also that Web access will point to my home server also? I am not sure what to do because obviously the IP address will change, and yet all the A name, C name, MX records stuff use IP. I just moved into the Boston area and I'm looking for a good dojo in either Goju Ryu or Shotokan Karate. I compete regionally and nationally in both kata and kumite. Strange symptoms both partners having racing heart, and weakness?

This is something that's been ongoing for awhile, first I got it for months. I can't exert myself without my heart jumping from 70 sitting to 96 walking in seconds. I can go days like this than I get energy zapped right out of me. I stay in bed for days just weak, with pressure rushing in my head and slight headache, and heart hurting. I have had ekg, ultra sound of heart, wore heart monitor and cbc. Last week my husbands heart starting racing and he was getting short of breath and complained of weakness, We can't figure out whats going on, we both have been tested for hep a,b,c. Doctors put us on beta blockers, It's not helping me at all, and he is still having some weakness as well with moderate, heart racing. I keep thinking we both have some type of bug. What could be making both of us have these symptoms. Any hints? could this be something infectious?

Could milk replacer make my goat sick?

I have a 6 week old goat and he was on real goats milk for the first 4 weeks then i slowly introduced milk replacer. He was doing fine. I then moved him outside and he was ok for the first day but they he didn't want to eat anymore and developed diarrhea he was very lethargic and was stretching a lot. I gave him some pepto and he perked up. I gave him his bottle again and again he got sick so i took him off his milk gave him just straight water and the past two days have been adding yogurt to his water, he seems to be doing fine now energy is back and he is his normal playful self. He eats some hay and a bit of grain but i am scared it isn't enough for him. What i would like to know is was it the milk replacer that was making him not feel good and now that he's been off it for a couple days should i try to reintroduce it to him slowly (watered down maybe)

Ok so about 6 months ago I found out I got an STD from my then boyfriend (he cheated on me). I got treated and retested and it came back negative. I just had my 3rd date with a guy last weekend. You can not brush curly hair when it's dry.. that's why you have poofy hair. I brush my hair before I get in the shower and after you get out then when it's soaking wet add mousse and finger comb it through and then blow dry with a diffuser so that the heat can dry your hair but there is no air to mess up your curls. You will like your curly hair so much more if you style it right.

Can anyone help me out with my HG/SS pokemon team?

Don't go by what is or isn't a good team by what others say, in my opinion. It's all about using the pokemon you like the most. As far as fighting goes, this team won't be very successful in an OU battle, but it seems formiddable for UU. You do have somewhat of a weakness to ground type moves, but a switch to aerodactyl or gyrados in such situations would resolve that problem. I would not suggest any two-move attacks such as fly, dive, etc. I'm not very experienced in competitive pokemon battling, but I know the basics. Don't take what I've said to be completely valid, therefore. Good luck!

I own a Dudley Lab too! Have you Googled it? There are actually clubs for Dudley owners. We got ours from a rescue group. The one thing about their fair skin, you need to make sure she has shade when outside and they are more likely to have allergy problems (skin irritations). Ours does. She is absolutely beautiful and VERY good around our 3 year old boy. She takes everything he dishes out to her. As far as the runt of the litter, I don't think so.

hi well it's most likely that the overflow gasket is leaking you can replaced this pretty easy remove the screw or screws from over flow plate, then push gently that will loosen the overflow pipe behind , you can buy a replacement gasket at any plumbing store , put in thru the hole then put the screws back as you tighten the gasket will expand behind it , also you can put silicone around tub hole and gasket that can also work good luck !

do you mean in the fuel or the crankcase...if its a normal two stroke mix in the fuel it will be ok the worst it can do is oil up the spark plug but it should be fine ive done it plenty of times before with no problems....if its in the crankcase you need to drain it and replace it with the right grade of oil...it should tell you what grade on the filler cap. i hope this helps you out

I am Erick Royce R. Cunanan I am a 13 year old boy from the Philippines. A typhoon named "Ondoy" hit our country and left our country homeless. Last Saturday, September 26, it was raining very hard and it was nonstop, the rain was flooding the streets and soon the flood was in our house. There was a brownout that day. Also Sept. 26 is the birthday of one of my friends in school. I bet he had the worst birthday of his life during the typhoon. My parents were carrying things from the fist floor up to the second floor like The TV, the books, the CD's and DVD's, our food, and other appliances or things at home. The flood was up to my stomach on the fist floor and if you went out the water will reach your head. The water was terrifying deep and dirty. Some of our things were left down the fist floor like the refrigerator, the toaster, the bookshelf, the dining table, the radio, the gas range, the christmas lights and decors and some papers or books. They all were soaked on the water and some were destroyed and we had to buy new ones to replace them. We didn't have any cold water. We only ate some bread and hot water. We used candles or flashlights at night. IT was hot and dark during night time. The Second floor was very narrow that you could easily bump the objects because some things on the first floor was to be put up there by my parents so they will not get wet or destroyed. We got some food like rice from our neighbors, you have to go up the roof of the house to get the food. My Aunties and Uncles and some of my father's officemates came to give some relief goods like a can of corned beef or sardines, some rice and disposables plates, spoons and forks and to clean the house which was very dirty and full of Mud. Our car does not work anymore my father is still fixing and cleaning it. He did not go to his office for one week and I did not go to school for one week. He even puts some of the car parts on the roof. Our wooden chair was missing and also some of our slippers and trash cans. All our neighbors took their stuff out and were busy cleanin them. The computer shops were destroyed that they would spend Php 250,000 to replace the broken computers. There was a dead dog, a dead horse and some dead chickens. I Believe the animals died because of drowning. There were lots of floating objects on the water like floating slippers or shoes, floating wood, bags, garbage, plastic, clothes. The plants and trees lost some leaves, their leaves were covered in mud and it was almost leaveless. I had to commute from our house going to school and vice versa. I arrived late at school and at home. It could take us a month before the car will be alright again. What happened to the Philippines was an unexpected tragedy that affected the lives of many. It was terrible, it was a tragedy, I wish It was just a nightmare, it was like we were punished by God for our wrongdoings. I have seen a mouse around the outside out my house, it has made a burrowing under my house too. Something's Stuck In My Eye And I Can't Get It Out.?

I have read other things on the internet about this, but I'd like some first-person advice about this. So a few hours back, I'd say... Around seven hours back, I was doing my own thing, on my computer, then the next thing I know, my eye begins to flow with tears something terrible, and involuntarily close, as if something had gotten inside my eye... Say an eyelash or something. So I was all, "Alright." And decided to go try and flush whatever it was out, after my eye stopped closing. To my dismay, whatever "it" was, wouldn't flush out, and now here I am, seven hours later, and it still feels like something is stuck in the back of my eye. What's odd is, if I push my eyelid in a little, to try and dislodge whatever "it" is, it feels like it may rotate a little here or there, around my eye, before returning back to its original location. Is something really lodged in my eye, or perhaps, is it just a lesion that my eye somehow sustained? What can I do to get rid of "it"? Please help!

Clothes that come in contact with the smelly items (example hanging together in the closet) become contaminated too. Odors are fishy, old sea shell or strong chemical odor. Dryer repairman took dryer apart and found nothing wrong with dryer. Odor is not in washer and odor does not seem to be coming off clothes that have been re-washed and air dried without using the dryer.

My 11 year old lab, Hazel, has a brain tumor. To start she had 7 seizures in 24 hours.?

this was in July and it is now November. The phenobarbital is at 90 mg, and she is doing Ok She has only had a break-thru 2 times. Her motor skills (front leg mostly) are a bit challenged now, & she is starting to have a weak bladder. She is also ravenous and thirsty all the time (snuck a pecan pie, a bag of brown sugar the other day, along with 4 bananas) Otherwise she doesnt seem to be suffering.She will still chase a ball any time u ask. Added small amount of live rock but not sure its fully cured?

I went to the pet store today and bought 2.something lbs of live rock for my established tank. I asked the employee there if it was cured, he said yes, but when we went back to get the rock(s), he said it was a very recent shipment and it was just in a tub of salt water along with the other rocks... I am trying to slowly build my LR because my tank is already established. It is a 30 gallon hex. tank with about 10 +/- lbs of live rock that are doing fine. I also have 3 damsels from the beginning, a CC star, purple reef lobster, a few small hermits and snails... Filtration besides existing live rock: Penguin 170 bio wheel and maxi-jet power head...Am I in trouble here or is that small amount not that big of a deal? I would of preferred the rocks to be in a tank curing a little better, but I'm not sure what he sold me exactly.... Any info would definitively help.. I don't have the resources to cure them myself in an extra tank or vat.... Thanks

Keep your hand in the cage for a while everyday and he will get use to it. you can also begin to feed him, food is a great way to reure a gerbil in distress, and shows them that you are his friend. Continue to do this. It's also important to not get angry at the gerbil, or avoid touching him. If he knows that biting you will make you go away, he will obviously continue to bite you, so you will need to have patience and find a way to familliarize him with your hand without getting bitten. It's going to require lots of patience, but in the end it's very rewarding, so don't give up!

Any way to fix cracked wire frame gles?

I know the answer is likely No, but does anyone know of any way to get a solid repair to thin metal wire frame gles when the wire frame gets a crack in it? My favorite frames cracked recently on the top edge close to where it meets the wire bridge piece across top of the nose - Wondering if there is any "super" metal type glue that might work - its such a small thin piece of wire I am doubting it. I took them to the optometrist shop where I bought them a couple yrs ago & they said can't be repaired, would have to order a new frame. you definitely do not punish a 9 week old puppy. you have to set up a routine, so she knows that she is going to be taken out for a pee. after she eats, you should take her out 30 minutes later for a walk to poop. puppies eat more so they poop more. as she gets older it will be probably eating no more than twice a day, so the poop control will be less. but you still have to have at least 2 or 3 times a day where they know they are going to go out to poop. sometimes they have a surprise poop, which you can't blame any one for. having 4 dogs of my own the best advise i can give you is to set up a routine and stick to it. punishing them does not help and only serves to depress them...altho smart, they don't correlate the poop in the dining room with you getting angry. once she has a routine, and understand the crate is her home, she will stop. dogs tend not to poop where they sleep. good luck, and give it some time. 9 weeks is very young. but perfect to start setting up a routine your dog can depend on.

Linux from windows....?

I was wondering if there was a program (preferably free) that would enable me to boot ubuntu linux off of my ext2 partition from windows vista into some kind of vm. I would make a vm with a virtual hard drive, but all of my programs are on my ext2 partition so I need to boot it from there. in other words I do not want to reinstall linux on a flash drive or anything like that, I want to run it in windows from a primary partition on my hard drive since all of my stuff is already in linux.

In 16 years as a Navy wife I've never met anyone as blatant as that. There have been a few husbands or wives who have messed around and once you know who they are they seem to stand out in your mind which can make it seem like they are everywhere. I don't get it either but I know at least one of the families I knew believed in open marriage. They both agreed that being with someone else while they were separated was ok. I would say that it is way too early to tell. Freshman year is one year of four, three of which are considered by most colleges. So honestly you are just representing one third of your school patterns. So I would say wait until Sopre year but work hard and be sure to try your best, the longer a good grade pattern is shown the more likely you are to get into a nice college.

Help with talking to a shy girl?

There's this girl I really like but it's just so hard to talk to her because she's really shy. It all started back in October for my school's homecoming when i grinded with her. Honestly I would say take it to a vet because broken wings may require surgery. Put in in a good size box with a towel or small baby blanket. Make sure the box is escape proof, which can be hard since bats can get through very very small spaces. Keep the box in a dark quite place so it can recover from any shock it might have from whatever happened to it. They can die quite fast when in shock. Theres nothing you can really do but call a vet/animal wild life center. They usually dont pick up animals but in some cases they will. I really hope the bat gets the help it needs. Thanks so much for caring abot this poor animal, alot of people wouldn't even think twice about it.

So... I was raised by very well-off parents but I tried not abuse it. They paid for my high school studies in Paris, but since then I have been fully independent. My eyes seem to be very light sensitive. Could this be a big problem?

My eye sight isn't the greatest, but it never really was a problem. I have a really low prescription right now that I got two years ago and I have an appointment for the optometrist next month. I've noticed that when I'm dealing with indoor lighting my eye sight feels 5x worse than usual. It kind of feels like I've been staring at the light for too long and it's following my line of sight except not as bad as concentrated light, just kind of distorted. Has anyone ever had a problem like this and know what it is? Or is anyone an eye doctor that's seen something like this before?

It often depends on the store policies. I used to work at a convenience store here in M and after a few slip ups that resulted in the store almost losing their license they got very strict and stopped accepting out of state and any temporary IDs. The reason why stores are often reluctant to accept out of state IDs is that each state is different so it is hard for a clerk to know what the licenses for all 50 states should look like. I've been on both sides of the issue and it's never fun!

Goldfish swimming top of tank, not eating?

Any advice appreciated - I have 3 goldfish (2 comets, 1 oranda), oranda has had slightly opaque fin ends, so I put in anti-finrot medicine. That seems to be clearing up but none of them are eating and they are spending a lot of time at the top of the tank, with their top fins a bit flattened. They're not gulping at the surface though. I usually change 1/3 of the water once a fortnight, I know many fish owners recommend 10-25% once a week, but they are all over 5 years old and that seems to work for them. I also 'hoover' the gravel when I do a water change. I was on holiday last week and I suspect the person who has been feeding them was giving them too much. Don't know if that has any relevance but thought I'd mention it anyway. Going to do a water change (last one was just over a week ago), maybe buy a water test kit. Any thoughts?

Child led potty training?

Mine is 27 months old as well - also as bright as a on but with little interest in potty training. We have bought her 'fairy' pants - pants with fairies on them, a Fifi potty, and promised her a scooter if she can go on the toilet or potty. Sometimes she'll sit on the potty but won't do anything and then announce that she has tried but she's just not really motivated to do it regardless of our attempts. I've come to the conclusion that if that's all we've got to worry about we're pretty lucky really. My mum reckons we should just leave it until the summer when they're not wearing so much and it's not such a big deal if they do wet themselves and I think that's what I'm going to do. Remember 2 1/2 is the new 2!

For the past three months (just a bit after school started) I begun talking to this older guy in my school (teacher, duh.) He's very nice, sweet, smart, independent.... unlike other guys (him being older is what makes him like that, I guess.) Comments on a poem please?

I read your comments first, then your poem. I don't know why people think that poetry must conform to certain set styles. If you don't want to rhyme or want to make your stanzas 3 lines then 10 lines than 2 lines, it's your poem you write it how you want to. Free verse is a style and most people write in this style. I know I do. My biggest gripe is that you use a few commas but no periods. Why does everyone forget to use punctuation in poetry? Run on sentences make for difficult reading. Your flow get all disrupted and then you get comments like I saw. The only thing abut the way you have your stanzas that I don't like is that in the fourth and 8th stanzas you have a couple of really long lines mixed into short lines. If you could break those lines up, yes the stanza will be longer, it would have a better look to the poem. Your meaning and flow would be barely affected. I don't get the cliched feel when I read this. I like the imagery that you chose to use. I really like the stanza about getting lost in space. Make these few changes and I think you will like the result.

Recommend a new car for someone with 2 dogs?

I'm looking at SUVs for myself - I have two dogs and I'm looking at new cars so that I can have it for a while as well as the money being well spent. My dogs aren't huge - they both are around 40 lbs. I was looking at vehicles with back space so they can have the back to themselves while people would be able to sit in the seats.
