Am I really weird for not wanting a large wedding paid by my parents?

So... I was raised by very well-off parents but I tried not abuse it. They paid for my high school studies in Paris, but since then I have been fully independent. Now I�m 20, I have my own apartment and I have no financial problems, I�m also raising my niece and I have two jobs (as a university teacher and an interpreter). I�ve just got engaged and me and my boyfriend want to get married in winter. He is a lawyer so we can afford a large wedding. However, we don�t want one. We want a nice delicate reception with parents, siblings, friends and some co-workers. About 50 people altogether. We want everything simple, but nice. The problem is that my parents are constantly trying to persuade me to have a large wedding and keep offering to pay for it. I�m starting to feel weird for not wanting it. I told them that if they want to buy us a gift, it will be really sweet and we will be flattered, but we simply can�t let them pay for a large party we don�t even want. Please someone tell me it�s perfectly normal and I�m not an ungrateful bratty daughter...
