Forgivness....Limits??
while i dont think you are crazy i do wonder about his "conversion to the Lord" but that is beside the point of the question. you say you feel sorry and sad for him and that you have forgiven him , i give you a lot of credit for those words. i doubt i could ever feel that way about someone whom molested me. i applaud you. i would caution you that molesters are great con men. they have that ability to inspire trust and a feeling of friendship, helplessness, of being truly contrite. be a bit wary of his "loving the Lord" be aware you may be being used as a means to an end. could his wanting forgiveness and having no one be tied to an early parole? all i can think of is the stories where a big man , crying over the loss of his puppy in the park ( the helplessness issue) convinces a little child that he Needs them ( making them feel important) to help him find it. only to later find that he has stolen the greatest gifts a child can bestow - their trust of the world and the innocence with which they view the world. dont let him or your compion for him steal your trust and innocence a second time.
